Medicaid

When this poll was conducted in April 2025, Congress was working on a budget per President Trump's priorities. The bill was on track to significantly cut Medicaid, the federal-state health insurance program for low-income individuals and families. (Note: Medicaid is distinct from Medicare, the federal health insurance program primarily serving seniors and people with disabilities. The bill was not expected to cut Medicare.)
