Medicare

When this poll was conducted in April 2025, Congress was working on a budget per President Trump's priorities. The bill was not on track to cut Medicare, the federal health insurance program primarily serving seniors and people with disabilities. (Note: Medicare is distinct from Medicaid, the federal-state health insurance program for low-income individuals and families. The bill was expected to significantly cut Medicaid.)
