When this poll was conducted in early February 2025, the Trump Administration was in the process of dismantling USAID, the main government agency for foreign aid, and discontinuing payments on its programs. These included many programs that provided food and medical aid, often for children, in countries experiencing famine, malnutrition, and preventable disease.
